Difference between machine making and manual blowing

Last issue talked about the process of manual blowing. Today I will talk about the difference between machine making and manual blowing.

一： Casting: mechanism, glass melting into the mold.

  Ordinary glass is mostly shaped in this way, with high speed and low price.

二： Manual blowing:

  1. The glass is melted, the iron pipe is dipped in the material and then blown into shape. Mainly crystal glass.

   2. Raw materials of ready-made glass, mostly pipes, are blown or processed by melting. All kinds of heat-resistant glass materials. Flexible production and high cost of workers.

Why do you choose to blow glass by hand?

1. Compared with transparent material with single mechanism, it is rigid and lack of firmness. The transparent material of artificial blown glass can be supplemented with various decorations. It is rich in color, changeable in shape, light in appearance, with streamlined aesthetic feeling, and it also contains natural and vital bubbles and water ripples, with better firmness.

2. The output of the mechanism is relatively high. Usually, the daily output of a medium production line can reach tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands, but there is no artificial technology. Each production link of each manual blown glass product is completed manually, with a low output. Generally, the daily output of each production team is several hundred, but each product contains the unique skills and meticulous work of the craftsman.

3. The machine products are more satisfying for consumers, lack of appreciation and low value. And the reason why the artificial blown glass products have high value is that they not only have practical functions, but also contain the expression of the craftsman's mind. Under the interpretation of smart manual, the glass products are no longer cold appliances. They have temperature, personality, and can deliver different messages to the owners.
